Beaver Arrest Record Paths
Beaver is the county seat. The 2020 Census count put the borough at 4,438 people, fewer than Ambridge, yet it still earns its own city page. The Beaver Police Department covers Beaver Borough, Vanport Township, and Industry Borough. That footprint matters for any search. A "Beaver matter" may really involve a neighboring community, and someone busted in the service area could end up in county, state, or federal custody. When county booking applies, the Beaver County Regional Booking Center at the Beaver County Jail handles intake. A borough police report and an RBC record stay separate. Custody can shift through a summons, a transfer, a warrant, or another agency's action.
Two county offices help route these questions. The Beaver County Sheriff's Office describes the Regional Booking Center function. The County Jail page covers the facility itself. Neither posts a public roster or a photo policy. Treat them as routing contacts for county custody questions, not replacements for Beaver Police records.
Beaver Police Activity and Mugshots
Beaver Police publishes a "Current Police Activity at a Glance" section plus monthly statistics. Those materials describe broad calls across the service area. They are not an arrest log. They are not a roster of everyone taken into custody, and they carry no booking portraits. Treating a monthly activity figure like a people-search tool invites errors, linking a name or charge to a custody status the department never published.
| Source | What it provides | What it does not provide |
|---|---|---|
| Beaver Police activity information | General current activity and monthly statistics | A name-by-name arrest, custody, or photo roster |
| Beaver County RBC and Jail | County booking routing and existing-record custodian | A verified public online roster or photo policy |
| UJS Case Search | Public case trail, hearings, bail, and disposition | A city police activity summary or public booking portrait |
| PA PSP PIRRs | PSP releases by location and date filters | All Beaver Police events or county bookings |
That distinction matters most in the county-seat area. An activity figure tells you officers responded to calls. UJS, by contrast, shows a case's public procedural history. For a city-created record, ask Beaver Police which office holds it. For county intake material, go to the county rather than assuming the Borough keeps a copy.
Finding Busted Records in Beaver
The right search path follows custody and record ownership. County pretrial custody, release, a state sentence, and federal detention each involve different tools. Start with the police department that handled the local event. Then check court records to see whether a case followed. The Beaver County booking-record resource lays out the County Jail, RTKL, PA DOC, and court routes without claiming a public county roster exists.
- Use Beaver Police contact information to identify the city report route and confirm which agency handled the event.
- For possible county custody, call the RBC or Jail for routing information and identify the person and approximate booking date.
- Search UJS by name and Beaver County, using a docket number or participant field when available, to review proceedings and disposition.
- Request an existing booking record or image from the actual custodian through a narrow RTKL request rather than asking for a general mugshot list.
State custody runs through its own system. The PA DOC Inmate/Parolee Locator covers state-sentenced inmates and parolees. It won't surface a fresh Beaver arrest. It can't answer for county pretrial custody either. Federal and immigration systems keep separate custodians too. Match the question to the custody state, or you may reach a false "no record" result.
Beaver County's court setup makes the court check worth extra effort. Magisterial district judges handle preliminary arraignments and bail. Felony and misdemeanor preliminary hearings happen at the Beaver County Courthouse before a rotating judge. The Clerk of Courts keeps criminal dockets, bail, warrants, arraignments, and commitments. UJS supplies the public case trail. No police activity statistic can show how a case ended.
Need a court copy? The Clerk's research information lists general public copies at $0.50 per page, plus an $11 microfilm record-management fee with per-page copying for microfilm. Those fees cover court material, not booking photos. The Clerk does not run criminal-history searches for the public. UJS remains the free self-search option, and noting the date of a search helps, since case details shift as proceedings continue.
Note: A released person may be out of county custody while the court docket stays public unless a legal restriction applies.
Beaver Busted Booking Timing
Where does a Beaver-area arrest record actually begin? Rule 552 answers that locally. Defendants covered by the rule report to the Regional Booking Center. Fingerprinting and photographing are standard parts of the process. Arrests at night, on weekends, or over holidays follow a slightly different route. Those individuals go straight to the RBC for video arraignment and booking before release or commitment. So a county intake record can start in one of two places, and neither guarantees anything shows up online.
Beaver County publishes no booking-feed schedule. There is no photo-posting rule and no stated retention period for a web roster. No daily booking bulletin from the borough exists either. Someone arrested can be released on bond or recognizance, issued a summons, transferred, or held for another authority. A gap in search results proves nothing about whether an arrest happened. Likewise, an old entry does not mean the person is still in custody.
Beaver Police Record Requests
Start with the Beaver Borough open-records policy when you need Beaver Police material. That document is the municipal starting point under the RTKL. No fixed fee or turnaround for a booking photo has been published, so ask directly. Contact the department to learn who the current open-records officer is. Then submit a request with a full name, a date range, the record type, and your preferred format. Request an existing record rather than a new compilation. Anything held by the Regional Booking Center belongs to Beaver County, not the Borough, so route those requests accordingly.

County-level RBC records run through Beaver County's Open Records Act request page, which posts the official form and policy. The form wants a specific description of what you need. It lets you choose electronic, printed, in-person, or certified copies. Expect a response within five business days, though a written extension of up to 30 more calendar days is possible under RTKL conditions. One limit matters here. The agency has no duty to build a new database or assemble a fresh photo collection. Ask for a fee estimate too, since Beaver County has published no booking-photo fee.
The Office of Open Records offers inmate-photograph guidance worth reading. It treats a local agency's inmate photo as presumptively public under RTKL analysis, while an image tied to a criminal investigation may trigger an exemption review. Presumptively public is not the same as automatically posted. Where an exemption claim seems doubtful, request a written decision and any non-exempt portions.
The Borough's own policy and code references do not create a booking-photo archive. They simply steer requesters into the municipal RTKL process and its records-management rules. A narrow, written request gives the Borough something concrete to evaluate. Broad service-area statistics are no substitute for a named record.
Beaver Busted News and Court
Official records come first. Two local outlets cover most Beaver-area crime after that. Beaver County Radio posts frequent, incident-driven reports. The Beaver County Times crime section may run daily stories plus an archive, though access varies. Their reach spans Beaver, Vanport, Industry, and countywide matters. Keep expectations realistic, though. Neither outlet is a complete booking feed. Neither promises that an arrest story comes with a booking portrait.
Mugshots.com carries a historical Beaver city link on its Beaver County page. Treat it as an older index. It is not a live check on warrants, custody, or court status. No verified Beaver County, Pennsylvania page could be located for Busted Newspaper, RecentlyBooked, Arrests.org, or Mugshots.zone. Don't settle for a same-named county in another state, either. When a report raises a real case question, go back to UJS and the agency responsible.
Note: Local coverage may name a date or location, but an official docket is the proper source for later hearings and outcomes.
